A data science, research and training firm working across East Africa - and the parent of Quantify Academy.
Dataverge Group Limited is a Ugandan data science and research firm. We work with organisations whose decisions carry weight, where a wrong number is not an inconvenience but a misallocated budget, a misreported outcome, or a regulator's question that cannot be answered.
We are deliberately explicit about what we have and have not done. Dataverge is new as a consultancy. The group, however, already operates Quantify Academy - a live, running education business - and that is where our claim to execution rests, rather than on a client list we have not yet earned.
Our story
A short account of the gap we set out to close.
Across East Africa there is no shortage of data. Institutions collect it constantly - through service records, field surveys, loan books, and reporting obligations to regulators and funders. What is scarce is the layer between collection and decision: data cleaned, connected, and interpreted well enough that a leadership team can act on it without hedging.
That gap is where Dataverge was formed. Not as a tools vendor, and not as a reporting bureau, but as a firm that takes responsibility for the whole chain - from the state of the database through to whether the people receiving the analysis can read it.
The group's longest-running operation, Quantify Academy, came from the same observation approached from the training side: capable people held back by never having been taught to work with data properly. Dataverge extends that work into the institutions themselves.
How we work
Not every engagement runs all five stages. They always run in this order, and it starts with the decision you are trying to make - not the software you are trying to buy.

Cleaning, integration, and structure come before analysis. Analysis on unreliable data produces confident answers that are wrong, which is worse than no answer at all.
Method chosen to fit the question and documented so it can be reviewed, repeated, and defended to a regulator, a board, or a funder.
We create all necessary visulaizations that support your team's understanding of data, so they can make right and informed decisions.
Every engagement ends with your team able to run, read, and question the work. Where that needs formal training, Quantify Academy delivers it.
Standards
The practices every engagement is delivered against, whatever the sector and whatever the size.
Every analysis ships with its assumptions, sample, and limitations written down. A finding that cannot be reproduced is an opinion.
We build on tools that stay yours. Nothing we deliver should require us to remain in the room, or a licence you cannot renew.
Access is scoped to the engagement, personal data is minimised, and handling follows Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act alongside your own obligations.
We say what the data does not support. A confident answer beyond the evidence is the most expensive thing a consultant can hand over.
